Sue Puchferran

Sue Puchferran is a Christian, wife, mom, and homeschool veteran,  who advocates for parental involvement in education. She holds a degree in Christian Education and a degree in Bio-Medical Engineering from Purdue University. She and her husband of 40 years, Rick, have 4 grown children . Their children now grown have successful careers in the fields of medicine, law, nursing, and finance, while maintaining a strong Christian faith. Sue co-founded the Home Education Enrichment Day (HEED) program 21 years ago in Boca Raton, offering a Christ-centered alternative education for hundreds of students in grades 6-12. Five years ago she started HEED Adventures, a Profound Learning experience for homeschool students in grades K-5. Sue serves as the vice president of the Home Education Foundation (HEF), as a homeschool high school advisor, and is an author and conference speaker. Her book, "Completing the Journey: High School/Home School Handbook,” has provided valuable guidance for homeschooling families for over a decade.
